Description

This publication contains methodology guidance on producing data on measuring paid and unpaid work, with three key aims: to provide a reference tool for countries seeking to conduct time-use surveys; to facilitate the harmonisation of methods for collecting, processing and disseminating such data; and to gain feedback on the trial International Classification of Activities for Time-Use Statistics (ICATUS), which will be subsequently revised and presented for adoption as an international standard classification.
