Description
The study pursues the topic of "God and the idols" through Bonhoeffer's writings and opens up access to his complete works. Through the systematization of Bonhoeffer's descriptions of anti-divine powers, different types of idols crystallize. Since these powers often arise from a wicked self-deification of humans, the topic belongs in the context of the doctrine of sin. In view of the fact that the current dogmatics has so far hardly noticed Bonhoeffer's approach, this book would like to introduce its groundbreaking impulses into the current discussion about the doctrine of sin.
