Description
This publication is intended to provide the reader with state of the art information on the various aspects of platinum group element (PGE) analysis and to advise which techniques might be most suitable for a particular analytical problem related to PGEs. In particular, many case studies are described in detail. Since in many cases nuclear techniques might not be available or sufficiently sensitive, non-nuclear techniques, such as atomic adsorption spectroscopy, voltametry or inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy, are also included in the discussion. The complexity of the problem requires full exploitation of the analytical armoury to obtain reliable and accurate results.
