This special issue summarizes the outcome of a multidisciplinary approach in the complex treatment of individuals with cleft lip/palate (CLP) and/or velopharyngeal insufficiency (VPI). Specialists from four continents bring together state-of-the-art information on diagnostics and discuss current therapeutical trends and their most frequent complications.
