Description
The present work delineates the economic life of Northern India from 700 to 1200 A.D. The unique importance of the period under study consists in the fact that it links ancient to medieval India and sheds light on both by a sort of dehali-dipaka-nyaya. In reconstruction the many facets of the economic life of this neglected period the author adopts a developmental attitude and handles diverse sources judiciously and critically.
