From its precursor, the Northwest Ordinance, through three successful constitutional conventions and more than 200 proposed amendments; the Ohio Constitution is an evolving document. This work provides an introductory essay outlining the history of the Ohio State Constitution as well as a section-by-section commentary on the Constitution.
