It includes bibliographies and statistical tables and provides profiles of important players, - Ty Cobb, Lefty Grove, Joe DiMaggio, Grover Cleveland Alexander and Jimmie Foxx. This book covers such teams as the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees, the Kansas City Royals and the Toronto Blue Jays, and examines the game of baseball from the fan's point of view.
