Questions such as these have long been debated by baseball fans. This completely updated and greatly expanded edition of Mr. Fabers acclaimed work (will provide hours of pleasure--ARBA) answers these questions and more. Major league players from 1901 through 1992 are ranked by position. Infielders and outfielders appearing in 100 or more games and all catchers appearing in at least 75 games are rated. New to this edition are ratings of starting and relief pitchers. All starters who have been involved in at least 15 decisions are included. Relievers are eligible if total saves plus decisions number at least 15.
