Description and Table of Contents
Description
In recent years, violence against women has emerged as a grave social problem in the countries of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). While actions to combat violence are being taken by national governments and NGOs, there is a need for regional action to eliminate it. This report attempts to give an overview of violence against women in South Asia by presenting country reports, information compiled by different organizations and discussions with relevant persons.
