This work features artists such as: Tikret Atay, Michael Beutler, Gerard Byrne, Gardar Eide Einarsson, Olafur Eliasson, Cerith Wyn Evans, Matias Faldbakken, Isa Genzken, Liam Gillick, Henrik Plenge Jakobsen, Jesper Just, Romuald Karmakar, Sarah Morris, Mark Raidpere, Benny Nemerowsky Ramsay, Jeroen de Rijke/Willem de Rooij, Michael Sailstorfer, Markus Schinwald, and Gavin Turk. It includes an essay by Juliane Rebentisch. The exhibition Stage of Life - Rhetorics of Emotion attempts to capture the incomprehensibility and the ineffability of artworks in the moment. The subjective experience of love and isolation, of mourning, melancholy and happiness, of age and youth, longing and fulfillment, illusion, confusion and despair are the material that these works are made from.
