Description
The objective of this book is to provide a comprehensive introduction to EIA and SEA, with particular application to developing countries and countries in transition. It gives both guidance and examples of good practice and will support local practitioners in the design and implementation of appropriate integrated arrangements that address the needs of sustainable development. Although this book is a companion volume to the "UNEP EIA Training Resource Manual", it can also be read on its own.
