内容説明

This book is designed to teach students about the basics of civil practice and procedure in the High Court with mention throughout of relevant sections of the Circuit Court rules and procedure. It is written in a readable style in which the explanation of each topic begins simply and is gradually increased in complexity. Its purpose is, in essence, to reduce the gap between the study of law by a student in law school and the theoretical aspects of the subject matter and what he or she will meet in the actual practice of law.

目次

The Rules and the Courts. The Summons and Service. The Pleadings. The Parties. Motion Practice, Lodgments and Security for Costs. Interlocutory Applications and Injunctive Relief. Discovery and Other Related Devices. Privilege. Trials and Evidence. Some Basic Rules of Civil Evidence.
