Description
Born in 1913 in Yorba Linda, California, Richard Nixon became the 37th president of the United States. After winning a second term in office in 1972, he was forced to resign at the threat of impeachment for his involvement with the Watergate scandal. Vice President Gerald Ford stepped in as acting president, but had little success gaining favor with the American public as they recovered from both the scandal of his predecessor and the Vietnam War. ""The Nixon-Ford Years"" is an informative reference to these administrations.
