Description
This CD-ROM presents four realistic, interactive clinical simulations based on clinical practice in critical care nursing. Each simulation focuses on a specific patient who presents with life-threatening conditions, and each covers both physiologic and psychosocial issues. The four simulations cover cardiac conduction system defects; direct coronary artery bypass graft (CABG); congestive heart failure (CHF); and ischemic chest pain. Computer assisted instruction includes: combined tutorial/simulation presentation; rationales for each response; easy navigation and bookmark feature; printable test results, references, summaries and key learning points; and valuable continuing education (CE) contact points
