With their confession that Christ will come to judge the living and the dead, Christian communities worldwide and at all times express their hope for justice that will also be given to past victims - including those who have already disappeared from our memory - to come to help. How can you speak realistically of this reality? The present work examines in detail how Karl Barth spoke of the court and reconstructs the Christian expectation of the court from its biblical-theological origins in a new approach.
