Description and Table of Contents

Description

The two reviews in this volume deal with the impact and effectiveness of applying herbicides and insecticides to plant surfaces. Such research is vital to the development of selectively active pesticides. The first review discusses the uptake and movement of herbicides from plant surfaces and the effects of formulation and environment on these processes, whilst the second describes the behaviour of insecticide deposits and their transfer from plant to insect surfaces. All those involved in crop protection, whether in the application of existing pesticides or research into new compounds will find this overview of a developing field both timely and valuable.
