Adequate infrastructure in the four key sectors of transport, telecommunications, energy and water is a prerequisite for opening up access to global trade and investment flows. This study analyses the role of infrastructure and its socio-economic linkages as well as regional initiatives in creating, maintaining and utilizing infrastructure with a focus on financing such investment.
