Videonalle 11, the festival of contemporary video art, was held at the Kunstmuseum Bonn in March and April 2007. The catalogue contains detailed documentation of the exhibition, including video stills and brief descriptions of all 48 works shown at the Videonale, including the latest video creations by artists such as Jeanne Faust, Christoph Girardet, Mischa Kuball and Lia Anna Henning. Included are essays by Yvonne Spielmann on the open structure of video in regards to copy, remake and remix; Nadia Ismail on subjective world views in contemporary video art; Astrid Wege on video art in Romania; Johan Hartle on the living environment and politics in videos by Gustavo Romano, Esteban Alvarez and Gregor Passens; and an article by Anna-Catharina Gebbers on performance and video and its attack on the white cube.The catalogue is accompanied by a DVD which includes 20 of the works shown at Videonale 11 by Antenna, Ulu Braun & Alexej Tchernyi, Christine De La Garenne, Geoffrey Garrison, Beate Geissler & Oliver Sann, Patricija Gilyte, Nick Jordan, Halina Kliem, Mischa Kuball, Guangyun Liu, Martin Lorenz, Matthias Meyer, Jean-Gabriel Periot, Nico Roicke, Gustavo Romano, Matthias Scholten, Siri Harr Steinvik, Tina Willgren, Mai Yamashita and Naoto Kobayashi, and Joseph Zehrer.
