This study looks at the economic history of the United States, taking in such areas as the developing population of America, the impact of the railroads and expansion of industry and Government from 1760 to 1940. It charts the progress, decline and stabilisation of the farming and agriculture industry; looks at banking and international trade tariffs and the onto the Depression and new 'American Way of Life'.
