内容説明
This study charts the rise of the Gulf States to become the dominant world force in the supply of crude oil. It analyzes how different States have used their oil wealth to encourage economic and social development, and specific development programmes are examined in order to identify the obstacles these countries face in diversifying their sources of wealth away from a dependence on oil. Designed for A level and first year geography undergraduates, the text includes past A level examination questions and assignments which aim to encourage students to use and understand the data provided in the text and tables.
