Description
This proceedings, ""Landfill Closures - Environmental Protection and Land Recovery"" consists of papers presented at the ASCE Annual Convention and Exposition held in San Diego, California, October 23-27, 1995. With increased closure and post-closure development of municipal solid waste landfills, there has been much study and design related to topics such as: suitable landfill cover design; dry landfills versus wet ones; leachates; landfill gas; and condensate. These and other subjects are discussed in this proceedings.
