Description

This is a short study on the rise of the sikh nation under Ranjit Singh (1780-1839). The scope of this book is to give the situation of the Punjab, prior to Ranjit singh's birth and his ascendancy to the throne. Also described is his court, the army and the administration, his early conquests along with short accounts of the Sikhs in general and their theocracy. This book is a reprint of the 1905 edition.
