"Enterprising Women" examines the careers of a diverse group of managerially inclined women, from experienced managers to entrepreneurs, both young and old. Since the 1950s, Australian women have broken through traditional career barriers and are now well established at all levels in an ever-widening range of professions. The career histories discussed in this book explore women's experiences in both establishing a business and negotiating a career-path up the organizational ladder, as well as the processes involved in being accepted as a woman boss.
