Ostensibly vols. 3-4 of "The history of England", a translation of Rapin-Thoyras's "Histoire d'Angleterre", but in fact an extension by Nicholas Tindal. Cf. ESTC
Vol. 3 is dated 1744; vol. 4 in two parts, each with separate titlepage, dated 1745 and 1747 respectively, and with continuous pagination and register, apart from "A summary of The history of England" in part 2, which has separate pagination
Includes: "The metallick history of the reigns of King William III. and Queen Mary" in two parts, each with separate pagination and register, the first after p.532 in vol. 3 and the second after p.706 in vol. 4, part 2
