Part two in this extensive research of painting in the Netherlands will take you back to the Dutch and Flamish painting in the seventeenth and eighteenth century. Ghislain Kieft discusses paintings and artists of the northern Netherlands. Whereas Hans Vlieghe analyses the works of the great painters of the southern parts: Rubens Jordaens, Van Dyck. Finally Christine Wansink reconstructs the life and times of painters in the eighteenth century.
