This volume will bring together key articles looking at key figures in Japanese politics and show how Japanese politics is far from being dull. These will include articles looking at Koizumi Jun'ichuro, Nakasone Yasuhiro, Tanaka Kakuei, and Ishihara Shintaro. Collection as a whole brings together key articles on the most crucial issues facing Japanese politics today, and the relationship between Japanese politics and the main institutions including big business, the bureaucracy and the media.
