Description and Table of Contents
Description
The aim of this series is to provide a common ground between obstetricians and paediatricians, and to describe current practice in a way that is useful and relevant to both groups. Individual volumes in the series represent the collected opinions of recognised authorities on various aspects of perinatology, and this third volume discusses problems associated with the use of anaesthesia in obstetrics. It covers, for example, aspiration of gastric contents, massive blood loss, intravascular coagulation, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, and complications of epidural anaesthesia. This collection of clincal reviews represents a useful summary of the subject of obstetric anaesthesia should be of interest reading for obstetricians, neonatal paediatricians, and anaesthetists.
