Description
The role of new technologies in today's culture is also increasingly reflected in contemporary artistic projects. This book documents the complex genesis of Ute Friederike Jurss' newest video installation You Never Know the Whole Story, which explores new avenues with respect to digital image processing. The work shows three 'live' pictures, which, inspired by press photographs taken from pictures of the masked artist, are presented as an animate-inanimate theatre with the help of a digital video programme.
