As a group, the artists represent four different Native cultures and four different art forms: Nicholas Charles, Sr., a Yup'ik Eskimo known for his carved and painted wood masks; Frances Demientieff, an Athabaskan bead worker and ski sewer; Lena Sours, an Inupiat skin sewer known for her fine parkas; and Jennie Thlunaut, a Chilkat Tlingit and maker of baskets and the famous Chilkat blankets
