Steve Joy has lived and painted on three continents. Although his abstract works reflect the history and culture of each of the countries in which he has dwelled, they are unified by universal themes of religious devotion and existentialism; his distinctive use of gold leaf and wax; and a vibrant sense of geometry and proportion.
