内容説明

Tracey Emin is one of the most famous artists working in Britain today. Born in London in 1963, she grew up in Margate and experienced a difficult childhood. Her teenage years provided the inspiration for much of her later work, which is autobiographical and often shockingly frank. This book accompanies her first retrospective exhibition in the UK, at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh and covers the full range of her work over the past twenty years, including embroidered blankets, paintings, sculptures, films, neons, and drawings. It features a detailed essay by Patrick Elliott, Chief Curator at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and a foreword by the artist Julian Schnabel.
