内容説明
"You'll Never Know" explores the different ways in which artists working today have deliberately introduced an element of unpredictability and random interference into their creative process. Many of the works reproduced in this book involve a form of indirect mark-making, whereby the artist relinquishes control of the composition, leaving chance to play a crucial part in creating the final image. "You'll Never Know" considers the use of chance and unorthodox materials in a historical and modern framework with reference to Rorschach prints, Buddhist Flung Ink paintings and the work of Yves Klein, Ed Ruscha and Andy Warhol.
