Description and Table of Contents
Description
NLN Achievement Tests for RN programs are nationally standardized tests designed to measure students' achievement in various content areas of the nursing curriculum. They enable faculty to evaluate specific course or program objectives and to compare the scores of students in their program with those of nursing students across the country.
RN Review and Rationale Maternal Newborn Nursing Examination
This is a comprehensive examination intended for RN students who have completed the maternal newborn course work. The examination complements the Review and Rationale content and provides feedback regarding the students' comprehension of this content. All items are written in the nursing process, and topics include normal and abnormal physiological and psychological changes associated with pregnancy and newborn care. Communication, nutrition, and pharmacology are interwoven throughout the examination.
