Description

This study attempts to show, that although the surgery of primitive peoples has held, even in the most ancient periods, an astonishing degree of technical efficiency, it has remained fairly undeveloped and limited in scope. This is due to the fact that although technical in character, this science is determined by the concept of disease prevailing in a given society.
