Description

A report on the findings of excavations carried out at two Neolithic sites in west-central France. Reports on the excavations themselves and artefacts recovered, including ceramics, lithics, human and faunal remains, bone objects, analysis of coprolites and dating evidence, are given. Investigations into these two sites provide important information on the Neolithic in general in this region of France and especially the origins of the Matignons culture and the suceeding Peu-Richard culture. French text.
