内容説明

This title features dedicated mailing and e-mail campaign to targeted art related media & organisations. Recognised as one of the most important artists of his generation, Gary Hill (b. 1951, Santa Monica, California) has been at the cutting-edge of video, sound, and mixed-media art since the early 1970s. Originally a sculptor, Hill was influenced by the intellectual orientation of the conceptual art which dominated the scene in the 1970s. It is from these influences that Hill created his visually poetic style that explores the interrelationships between language, image, identity and the body. Hill's work has been exhibited at museums and galleries around the world, including the Guggenheim Museum; the New York Museum of Modern Art; the Centre George Pompidou, Paris; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; and, the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.
