Description
This publication presents the findings of the coordinated research project (CRP) on Innovative and Adaptive Technologies in Decommissioning of Nuclear Facilities. The objectives of the CRP were threefold: to identify decision making approaches in decommissioning projects in developed and developing countries; to improve and expand the database on the appropriate application and performance of various decommissioning technologies; and to address specific issues of individual decommissioning technologies and generate data relevant to their comparison and selection. This resultant publication is intended to assist relevant nuclear plant personnel in selecting appropriate decommissioning methods and technologies and to promote the accessibility of the available body of knowledge on this subject.
