D&M have: "William Carey and his colleagues at Serampore began this translation in 1802, but hearing that H T Colebrooke had already translated the Gospels they delayed their own work until his was published. Printing began at Seramopore soon afterwards, and ... the NT was finished in 1811. [With] English title [and] Hindi title"
