内容説明
South African educationists face several challenges, including to which curriculum they should subscribe. Teachers play a key role as agents of curriculum change, and can contribute to the successful and dynamic development of the curriculum if they possess the appropriate knowledge and skills. Teacher empowerment through curriculum development: Theory into practice encourages the empowerment and involvement of teachers in the curriculum development process. This book will provide teachers with the following: a sound theoretical foundation for curriculum development and design; examples of how this theory may be implemented in practice; subject curriculum development; a comprehensive overview of the teacher's curriculum roles and functions.
