This book elucidates the role of the media in the process of securitisation and the construction of identities. Through a rigorously documented content analysis of Indian newspapers over the years, it provides an analytical account of how Pakistan and its nuclear program are framed and represented in the Indian press. In the process, the book unveils the performance of the press vis-a-vis official government policy towards Pakistan and its nuclear policy, as well with regard to India's own nuclear policy.
