Following the two-volume format of the 6th edition of the Wallingford Tables, this new edition again includes the extended range of pipe size that covers European standards as well as those for the newer materials now widely adopted in the UK. The book's main objective is to aid Colebrook-White assessments of resistance in such pipes and in a great variety of free-surface circumstances including large rivers. In addition, there is cover of the Manning and of the Hazen-Williams resistance formulae. Almost completely reset and redrawn, this edition has many updates and improvements including: new roughness size data, elimination of interpolation between pages and inclusion of data on losses at appurtenances.
