A reference work containing lists of chemical products that can be used as surfactants (surface active agents), this gives individual attention to each product rather than grouping them into chemical series. Cross-referencing to tradename products of chemical manufacturing companies and to chemical components of surfactants is included. The work is intended for industrial chemists and chemical technologists involved in all aspects of the manufacture and application of surfactants. The compilers have previously produced the "Thesaurus of Chemical Products".
