Summary: This year's survey concerns six employment instruments and has been prepared in light of the fact that the first of the four strategic objectives highlighted in the Declaration is the promotion of employment. In this way, the subject matter of the General Survey is aligned to the subject matter of the first recurrent report on Employment which, like the General Survey, is to be discussed at the 99th Session of the International Labor Conference.--Publisher's description
