内容説明

Research on ionic liquids has drastically increased over the past two decades. Ionic liquids are now a topic of major interest for chemists - both academics and professionals - across the world. The chapters in this book, taken together, represent how the field of ionic liquids is progressing and evolving. Current research on finding various other applications of ionic liquids is an interdisciplinary endeavor that brings together various disciplines such as synthetic, organic, bioorganic, medicinal and biological chemistry, chemical biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, toxicology, materials sciences etc. The authors intend these communities in particular to draw great benefit from this book. The authors seek to encourage and stimulate ongoing and new interdisciplinary research activities on the development of novel applications of ionic liquids in the biomedical fields.
