Description

This volume explores the role that environmental archaelogy can play in integrated investiagtions of 'ritual' deposits. Topics include studies of types of deposits, such as pits and wells, or bone groups, as well as specific case studies such as an Iron Age burial group from Blewburton Hill, Oxon, or Dun Ailinne in Ireland. The papers focus in the main on Bronze and Iron Age Britain and Ireland.
