内容説明
Steroid hormones such as Glucocorticoids can effect a variety of metabolic and secretory pathways, and have a profound influence on the physiologic function of virtually all tissues. Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) which is the first-line treatment of inflammatory diseases such as asthma is a steroid treatment that also has an effect on the human body and can cause complications such as growth retardation in paediatric patients, oropharyngeal candidiasis, skin atrophy, adrenal suppression, risk of cataracts, and osteoporosis.
