This is a study of the lithic artefacts from three sites in the Meghalaya region of north east India, Saw Mer, Makbil Bisik and Bibra Gre. Ashraf identifies tool types, and plots their frequency and distribution, and their ecological settings to produce a model for cultural development at the sites.
