Description
Boundary Layer Analysis is a revision of the 1993 Prentice-Hall edition. Spanning the entire range of viscous fluid flows of engineering interest--from low-speed to hypersonic flows--this volume introduces and analyzes laminar, transitional, and turbulent flows; the physics of turbulent shear flows; and turbulence models. It offers concurrent treatment of momentum, heat, and mass transfer, and covers new analytical methods that are widely used in preliminary design, especially for design optimization studies.
