Surgical techniques have evolved for customized correction of refractive disorders, based on achievements in objective assessment of refractive properties of the human eye and greatly refined excimer laser surgical vision correction systems. This book presents the underlying optical and laser-technological principles as well as the first clinical studies for Wavefront-quided LASIK-ablations.
