Description
This historical reference follows the proceedings of the Third Subspecialty Day Glaucoma Symposium sponsored by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. The purpose of that conference was to review the progress made in glaucoma over the past 100 years, and to consider the possibilities that the next 100 years might hold. In every chapter, specialists focus on one aspect of the heritage of glaucoma, and offer thoughts for the future. Coverage includes diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. The text also features a tribute to Dr Bernard Becker, one of the glaucoma leaders of the 20th century.
